Duties:
Provide technical project planning, management, and oversight for software development projects; define project schedule, manage resources and monitor progress; oversee project analysis and participate in requirement elicitation sessions; review and provide feedback on various project artifacts such as Applications Requirements Definition (ARD), Use cases, Functionality Matrix, Traceability Matrix, and Error Tracking Log; manage projects in JIRA and Confluence; provide software training to team members; facilitate change requests and determine impact on schedule and budget; research, analyze and propose plans to integrate external applications that better fit the needs of the project; assist project teams with design and development tasks; lead and manage quality assurance team ensuring that they adhere to testing standards and procedures; manage software release planning and follow-up communications between the teams and business partner; use web and mobile technologies to develop, test and support applications per client requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely-related field (in lieu of a Bachelors’ degree, will also accept 2 years’ professional experience as a Developer/Business Analyst).
In addition to the above, requires 5 years’ progressive experience working as a Developer/Business Analyst on projects using: .NET, JavaScript, HTML, SQL Server, and Qlik Sense, with at least 3 years experience using Jira and Confluence to deliver projects using Agile development methodology SCRUM. All experience may be gained concurrently.
The position reports to the employer’s Worthington, Ohio office and requires travel and/or relocation to unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to work on short-term & long-term projects.
